Sunny Days... A Summer's Reflection
I guess it’s summer’s laid-back lingering moments that allow me to appreciate all of life’s simple pleasures. I think that summer gives one permission to not only pause and reflect on what’s important in life, it often invites you to get lost in new adventures with no structure or boundaries.
Whether you find yourself designing and planting a French garden for the first time like I am, antiquing and leisurely meandering along some unknown unpaved path, setting sail in new waters, simply sitting on your porch savoring a coffee and a good read, or enjoying the sand between your toes as you breathe in the salt air, listen to the roar of the ocean, and it’s rhythmic waves as the sweet sound of children’s laughter fades in the distance…
I’m sure we could all agree that summer can take you away!
So I hope this summer you relish in the unexpected, enjoy life’s simple pleasures and be grateful for all that the season offers.
